2023 Season Information
PlayHQ
PlayHQ makes administration of clubs and leagues much simpler, and is easier for parents and players to register and see their information. It has been adopted by all parts of AFL, from the professional leagues through to Auskick. PlayHQ is in use across Australia with a number of different sports already, including Basketball.
The new registration system means your SportsTG logins will no longer be valid. If you have a PlayHQ account already with a different sport, you can re-use the same login. Otherwise – you will be required to create yourself a new login, a simple process which will require access to your email to validate your account.
Once you’ve logged in and entered your player’s details – the first time you register each player you will need to “claim” their profile. As long as the details entered including First Name, Last Name and Date of birth are the same, this should be a simple step during registration.
There may be occasions where you need a little further help. Perhaps your email address has changed or the details in SportsTG were incorrect or different. In those cases, PlayHQ support is there to help – just use the links to support while on the registration page.

Season Dates
While the season start dates are yet to be officially confirmed, AFLQ have given us an indication on when the fun will start for 2023.
Auskick is likely to start up early February for 8 weeks, actual day of week to be confirmed but likely Thursday afternoons. Superstars will follow once Auskick finishes in Term 2.
Footy4Fun age groups, Under 8 through to Under 11, will play a 14 week season including possibly a couple of carnival rounds starting after the Easter school holidays.
Youth Football, Under 12 to Under 17 will have grading matches scheduled at the end of March, with round 1 scheduled for the Anzac Day weekend. The season will again be 14 weeks long with 3 weeks of finals, the Grand final pencilled in for August 28.
All age groups will break for 2 weeks over the June/July school holidays.
Naturally this is all subject to alterations prior to the season starting, or through any Covid-related alterations required throughout the season.
